Meet our owner

Owner and operator Lupe Martinez grew up in Denver, Colorado. He began his career as a wildland firefighter based in the Black Hills of South Dakota. His firefighting career took him back to Denver where he began his journey in construction and construction project management. During this time, Lupe met his now wife Keri who is from Upstate, NY. After a short stint in Maryland, Lupe and Keri moved to her hometown of Niskayuna, NY where they currently reside with their two children and two dogs. Lupe is a graduate of Hudson Valley Community College with a degree in Electrical Construction and Maintenance. After a successful career in the construction management field Lupe had still not lost his desire to be outdoors and decided to follow his passion by opening Martinez Landscapers.
